Activities

Parliament house:

Visit the Australian Parliament House and experience Australia’s robust democracy in action. You can watch Question Time, see bills being debated, and sit in on committee inquiries as current issues are explored in detail. You’ll find some of Australia’s finest historical treasures, symbolic architecture, and contemporary art on display throughout the building as well.

Questicon:

This National Science and technology centre is an interactive science communication facility. It is a museum with more than 200 interactive exhibits relating to science and technology. You can even test your bravery on the free fall! With so many things to do, you’re bound to find something you love.

War Memmorial:

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. The Memorial's commemorates the sacrifice of those Australians who died in the war or on operational service and those who have served our nation in times of conflict. Its mission is leading remembrance and understanding of Australia’s wartime experience.

Zoo:

Two attractions in one! Visit the national zoo and aquarium in Canberra and experience the large range of beautiful animals. Get up close and personal with tigers, giraffes, meerkats and so many more! If you prefer the incredible creatures of the sea then this is for you too, this place has it all.

Team Leaders

We encourage all participants to be assigned a Team Leader from Empowered. Our Team Leaders can help with tracking participant goals, developing strategies to assist with support, communicate strategies with staff, and develop reports as requested. If you do not wish to be allocated a Team Leader please notify our administration staff.
