Claudia Keeton

Support Coordinator

Claudia is one of our Support Coordinators at Empowered Community Services. She enjoys breaking barriers for participants to reach their goals and making sure all participants are receiving the right support, individually.

In 2020, Claudia completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science. This allowed for the ability to understand human behaviour and grant the skills to make a positive effect on the participants lives.

Claudia started at Empowered Community Services as a Support Worker, then became a Team Leader and is now kicking goals as a Support Coordinator. She appreciates being a part of the participants’ lives and assisting them to achieve their goals, it’s always exciting when participants reach goals.

Prior to employment at Empowered, Claudia came from a hospitality background. She strived for consumers to have a great experience; these skills adapted to a strong understanding of a person-centered approach.

Outside of these roles, Claudia enjoys playing netball, camping and DIY crafts.

Team Leaders

Participants receiving Community Access and Capacity Building Supports will be assigned a Team Leader. Our Team Leaders can help with tracking participant goals, developing strategies to assist with support, communicating strategies with staff, and developing reports progress reports. Team Leaders will be charged under the Non-face-to-face line item as necessary.

Establishment Fee

Participants with more than 20 hours of support per month may be charged an establishment fee when entering the service.
