Matthew Shipman

Meet Matt –  Matt has worked in the industry for a number of years in different roles, as a Local Area Coordinator, Support Coordinator and as a Respite Coordinator.

Matt transitioned into the Service Manager role with Empowered in 2023. Matt is passionate about participant satisfaction and works closely with his team to ensure a positive experience for all those that work with Empowered.

Prior to working in disability, Matt worked for several years as a firefighter, which has aided in his ability to excel under pressure and make time-sensitive decisions.
