Diploma in Event Management

Rachel is our Events Coordinator and oversees Empowered’s activity space. Dubbed “The Space” Rachel delivers inclusive, engaging and fun group and social activities for our participants.

Before Empowered, Rachel spent two years working in access for the NDIA and recently completed a Diploma of Event Management.  Rachel also brings extensive event experience to the role having worked within professional sport leagues and clubs. Rachel is passionate about providing our participates the opportunity to achieve goals through group and social activities that excite and engage our participants.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys watching sport, watching live music and spending as much time as possible in the ocean.

Team Leaders

Participants receiving Community Access and Capacity Building Supports will be assigned a Team Leader. Our Team Leaders can help with tracking participant goals, developing strategies to assist with support, communicating strategies with staff, and developing reports progress reports. Team Leaders will be charged under the Non-face-to-face line item as necessary.

Establishment Fee

Participants with more than 20 hours of support per month may be charged an establishment fee when entering the service.
