Rose is a Team Leader at Empowered, and also enjoys her role as one of Empowered’s Support Workers. She completed her degree in Psychological Sciences at the University of Newcastle and is currently completing further studies in her Honours research year. She has also gained several years of experience working as a mentor for students on the spectrum studying at the university.

Rose has a passion for working with people from all walks of life and understands that each person has a different experience that is always worth listening to. As a Team Leader, Rose works closely with participants and their stakeholders to ensure that all aspirations are heard, and to ensure that supports remain goal focussed.

Outside of work Rose enjoys playing the violin, which she has done for most of her life, spending time with her family and friends, swimming and having an active lifestyle!

Team Leaders

Participants receiving Community Access and Capacity Building Supports will be assigned a Team Leader. Our Team Leaders can help with tracking participant goals, developing strategies to assist with support, communicating strategies with staff, and developing reports progress reports. Team Leaders will be charged under the Non-face-to-face line item as necessary.

Establishment Fee

Participants with more than 20 hours of support per month may be charged an establishment fee when entering the service.
